Educational tools are numerous and diverse, ranging from traditional to modern and contemporary forms. Despite their variety, they all converge toward a single objective: clarifying information, assisting teachers in the educational process, motivating learners to assimilate knowledge, enhancing the overall level of learning, and ultimately fostering maturity and skill acquisition. Educational tools are generally classified into four groups. The first group: visual aids, such as pictures, the blackboard, opaque images, maps, globes, flashcards, charts, models, exhibitions, museums, and photographs. The second group: auditory aids, such as audio recorders, school broadcasting systems, and radio. The third group: audiovisual aids, such as television, computers, animated and sound films, still films with audio recordings, theater, puppetry, and video projectors. The fourth group: tangible aids, such as models and physical shapes. This study seeks to combine theoretical and practical dimensions by presenting examples of each type of educational tool and illustrating their application. Educational tools are considered instruments employed by teachers to facilitate instruction, train learners in skills, and instil proper habits. Their role in education is fundamental, extending even to higher education institutions, given their significant impact.
education – learning – teacher – learner – teaching aids – applications – pedagogy.
