The present research addresses environmental complexities in supply chain management concerning Algeria’s logistics and construction industries. In fact, with the rise of global demand in sustainability, Algerian industries have fallen under pressing problems of high carbon emissions, overutilization of resources, and waste management. While this study has demarcated environmental impacts with a high degree of specificity, it has signified serious deficiencies in extant practices and regulatory regimes; however, it still calls for enhanced regulatory enforcement while prioritizing more innovative measures. Measures proposed to address these issues include the implementation of green logistics, circular economy principles, state-of-the-art technologies, and increased integration among stakeholder networks. The study proffers some actionable recommendations that would assist Algerian supply chains in reducing their ecological footprints while at the same time helping to ensure economic resilience and sustained competitiveness within an increasingly sustainability-focused market.
