Résumé : Cet article analyse la réactualisation du mythe d’Œdipe dans La Répudiation de Rachid Boudjedra comme dispositif critique du patriarcat algérien postcolonial. À partir d’une lecture textuelle articulant psychocritique (Mauron), psychanalyse (Freud, Lacan) et approche postcoloniale (Memmi, Bonn), l’étude montre que la répudiation de la mère par le père fonde un trauma œdipien structurant. L’inceste avec la marâtre devient un parricide symbolique conscient, transformant la transgression en acte de révolte. La narration hallucinatoire, assimilable à une cure analytique, convertit le complexe non résolu en écriture subversive. Le roman apparaît ainsi comme une déconstruction littéraire et politique des structures d’oppression héritées. Abstract: This article examines the reactualization of the Oedipus myth in La Répudiation by Rachid Boudjedra as a critical device targeting postcolonial Algerian patriarchy. Combining psychocriticism (Mauron), psychoanalysis (Freud, Lacan), and postcolonial theory (Memmi, Bonn), the study argues that the mother’s repudiation constitutes the founding trauma structuring the narrator’s Oedipal conflict. Incest with the stepmother functions as a conscious symbolic parricide, transforming transgression into revolt. The hallucinatory narrative, akin to an analytic cure, turns the unresolved complex into subversive writing. The novel thus emerges as a literary and political deconstruction of oppressive structures inherited from tradition and colonization.
