The Viral Cycle Of Social Validation: How Social Media Amplifies And Replicates Socially Endorsed Behaviors

Résumé

The mechanisms of amplification and replication of validated behaviors on social media rely on algorithmic reinforcement and the viral feedback loop. These processes encourage conformity by promoting behaviors that receive social validation through likes and shares. Further research is needed to understand the long-term effects of viral social validation on behavior and mental health.
