الملخص
أصبح في السنوات الأخيرة التوجه نحو عصرنة العقوبة من أهم مواضيع النظم الجنائية المعاصرة، حيث تم أخذ السوار الإلكتروني كتقنية رئيسية في رقمنة العقوبة قصيرة المدة السالبة للحرية بدل تنفيذها بشكل تقليدي، حيث يُستخدم لمراقبة الأفراد المحكوم عليهم بشكل مستمر عبر مجموعة من الخصائص والدعائم الإلكترونية التي تسهل عمله وتخفف العبء على السلطات المختصة في تنفيذ هذا النوع من المراقبة، وهذا ما يضفي طابع أنسنة وعصرنة العقوبة في ظل تنامي مستجدات التكنولوجيا الحديثة في علم الإجرام والعقاب . In recent years, the trend toward modernizing punishment has become one of the main topics in contemporary criminal justice systems. The electronic bracelet has been adopted as a key technology in the digitization of short-term imprisonment, serving as an alternative to traditional forms of execution. It is used for the continuous monitoring of individuals sentenced to penalties through a range of electronic features and supports that facilitate its operation and reduce the burden on the competent authorities responsible for this type of supervision. This adds a humanizing and modernizing aspect to punishment in light of the growing developments in modern technology within the fields of criminology and penal science.
