Description

The Annals of the University of Algiers is an international peer-reviewed academic journal founded in 1986, which aims to publish original scholarly research in accordance with rigorous academic and scientific standards.
Over the years, the journal has developed in terms of its publication frequency. In 2012, it became a semiannual journal, and since 2017 it has adopted an annual volume system divided into four issues published in March, June, September, and December.
Since 2025, the journal has been classified in Category (B), reflecting its academic standing and the quality of the research it publishes. The journal is committed to disseminate original contributions of significant scholarly depth that engage with contemporary scientific and methodological developments. All research undergoes a rigorous peer-review process conducted by specialist experts.
The journal publishes articles in English in the fields of Legal and Political Sciences, Sharia and Law, and Media and Communication.

تتشرف هيئة تحرير حوليات جامعة الجزائر 1  بدعوة الأساتذة والباحثين من داخل الجزائر وخارجها، لتقديم أبحاثهم العلمية المكتوبة باللغة الإنجليزية، في ميدان العلوم القانونية والسياسية، الاعلام والاتصال، الشريعة والقانون وحرصًا على الارتقاء بجودة النشر، تذكّر الهيئة العلمية بضرورة احترام شروط النشر المعتمدة بالمجلة شكلا وموضوعا.

The Annals of the University of Algiers 1 have the pleasure to invite professors and researchers from within Algeria and abroad to submit their scientific research papers written in the English language, in the fields of Legal and Political Sciences, Media and Communication, and Sharia and Law.

In its commitment to raising the quality of publication, the Scientific Board reminds all contributors of the necessity to comply with the journal's adopted publication requirements, both in form and substance.
