In an Algerian socio-educational context, where the teaching of French continues to fuel educational debates, the training of teachers of this language also continues to generate recurring issues in line with the new changes and general challenges of Algerian society and political choices. This study addresses this question, the objective of which is to determine whether the various training models would best meet the expectations of learners and the supervisory authorities. To do this, we rely on a questionnaire survey involving a sample of teachers, representing graduates from various Algerian universities, and serving the different districts of the wilaya of El-Oued. The conclusion of this study demonstrates that the Algerian higher education system includes a variety of initial training programs, not just one. Their success depends on the extent to which these programs respond to and interact qualitatively with the multiple socio-educational needs resulting from various general changes in Algeria..
