Revue scientifique semestrielle indexée, dédiée aux domaines du savoir et de la méthodologie en sciences humaines et sociales. Edité par l'université Mohamed Lamine Debaghine. Setif 2, elle contribue à l'enrichissement de la recherche scientifique, et du dialogue systématique de fond, dans les domaines du savoir social. Elle vise à: 1. Hisser la recherche scientifique au plus haut niveau de qualité, grâce à la construction systématique de la pensée et à la pratique de la recherche. 2. Permettre une interdisciplinarité entre les différents domaines du savoir social et les diverses méthodes de la recherche. 3. Créer un lien entre le mouvement scientifique dans les sciences sociales, d’une part, et le développement social et les questions pertinentes de la société, d’autre part. 4. Soulever la controverse scientifique portant sur les questions récentes du domaine des sciences sociales, puis les orienter vers des horizons mondiaux. La revue accepte de publier en arabe, en français et en Anglais. Mais elle exige que 1 / L'article soit original, nouveau, et non publié dans d'autres publications de toute nature, ni présenté dans un séminaire ou colloque scientifique, ni extrait d’une thèse académique. 2 / Qu’il respecte l'éthique du dialogue et de la critique constructifs et soit libre de toute diffamation. 3 / Qu’il adopte les conditions de publication annoncés en page de garde.

الملخص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى البحث عن أنساق الرواية العربية المعاصرة ضمن النقد الثقافي بما هي سرد واع أصبح يخوض في مواضيع إنسانية بُغية مواكبته لنظيره الغربي في ظل تداعيات ما بعد الكولونيالية وثنائية الأنا والآخر ضمن فلسفة العيش المشترك، فتكون الرواية بذلك صرحا معرفيا ينقل تداخل الأجناس ومحاورات الذات والآخر الذي يسكنها، ويناقش فكرة التعايش السلمي بطريقة فنية تُعمّق هذا الطرح الإنساني، وتُعيد كتابة هوية سردية مزدوجة للإنسان العربي المأزوم وهذا من خلال رحلتنا البحثية في رواية أنا وحاييم للحبيب السايح. This study aims to search for the patterns of the contemporary Arab novel within cultural criticism, including a conscious narrative that has become engaged in humanitarian topics in order to keep pace with its Western counterpart in light of the repercussions of postcolonialism and the duality of the ego and the other within the philosophy of coexistence, so that the novel becomes an epistemological edifice that conveys the overlap and the dialogues of the “ego” with the “other” who inhabits it, and discusses the idea of peaceful coexistence in an artistic way that deepens this human thesis and rewrites a dual narrative identity of the Arab man in crisis all through our research journey in the novel of “Me and Haim” by El-Habib El-Saih.

Exploring Challenges and Solutions in Enhancing Public Speaking Skills Among English Learners: A Focus on Anxiety, Preparation, and Expert Observation

Résumé: Public speaking is a crucial skill in language learning that fosters communication, confidence, and critical thinking. However, for EFL learners, especially beginners, speaking before an audience presents significant linguistic and psychological challenges. This study investigated the perceptions and difficulties encountered by A2-level English learners at "B" private school in Setif, Algeria, in developing public speaking skills. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from 13 learners through structured questionnaires and follow-up interviews. Results revealed that despite perceiving their English proficiency as average, most participants experienced significant anxiety and felt unprepared for public speaking, with 76.9% reporting anxiety when confronted with presentation tasks. The primary challenges identified included fear of negative evaluation, limited vocabulary, ineffective use of verbal and non-verbal communication, and poor time management. Participants attributed these difficulties primarily to insufficient practice (30.8%) and inadequate preparation (26.9%). Statistical analysis revealed strong negative correlations between anxiety and speaking confidence (r = -0.73, p < 0.01) and between perceived difficulty and confidence (r = -0.68, p < 0.01). Although 92.3% of participants were unfamiliar with professional speaking platforms like TED Talks, all unanimously agreed that observing expert speakers could enhance their development. These findings emphasize the need for comprehensive pedagogical approaches that integrate anxiety-reduction strategies, structured practice opportunities, and exposure to authentic speaking models to develop confident, effective communicators in EFL contexts.

الملخص: في مقالنا هذا سنعمل على استقراء وتحليل الخطاب الفلسفي السياسي للمعلم الثاني، الذي اشتهر بمؤلفاته الفلسفية التي جعل من إشكالية الدولة والمواطنة مركزا فيها، منطلقين بذلك من فرضية تمّكن الفارابي من تقديم خطاب فلسفي الم من خلاله بمختلف القضايا الأساسية التي يمكن أن تساهم في تنوير الحاكم والمحكوم ومنه التأسيس لثقافة المواطنة والفضيلة في المدينة، ومنه تقديم خارطة طريق فلسفية عملية، يمكن من خلالها بناء معالم المدينة التي تتحقق فيها سعادة الجميع. و منه أكد الطبيعة المدنية للدّولة و الوضع المرن والنسبي الذي تكون عليه قوانينها. كما أكد الحاجة إلى إعطاء الفرصة للفيلسوف ليسهم بدوره عن طريق الخطاب الفلسفي النقدي،في تشكيل وعي اجتماعي سياسي لدى الحاكم والمحكوم، ليعرف كل طرف ما له وما عليه، وفتح الأفق الفكري والسياسي، لينخرط الجميع وفق التزام اجتماعي أخلاقي في إنجاح مشروع الدولة الفاضلة. In this article, we will work to extrapolate and analyze the political philosophical discourse of the second teacher, who was famous for his philosophical works in which he made the problem of the state and citizenship a center in it, starting from the hypothesis that Al-Farabi was able to present a philosophical discourse through which he dealt with various basic issues that could contribute to enlightening the ruler and the ruled, including establishing a culture of citizenship and virtue in the city, and from it presenting a practical philosophical roadmap, through which one can build Landmarks of the city where everyone's happiness is achieved. From there, he emphasized the civil nature of the state and the flexible and relative status of its laws. He also stressed the need to give the philosopher the opportunity to contribute in turn, through critical philosophical discourse, to forming a social-political awareness among the ruler and the ruled, so that each party knows what he has and what he owes, and to open the intellectual and political horizon, so that everyone can engage according to a moral social commitment in the success of the virtuous state project. Dans cet article, nous travaillerons à extrapoler et à analyser le discours philosophique politique du segend maitre , célèbre pour ses écrits philosophiques dans lesquels il a placé le problème de l'État et de la citoyenneté au centre, en partant de l'hypothèse qu'Al-Farabi était capable de présenter un discours philosophique à travers lequel il traitait de diverses questions fondamentales qui portraiture contribuer à éclairer le dirigeant et les gouvernés, y compris l'établissement d'une culture de citoyenneté et de vertu dans la ville.Il s’agit notamment de présenter une feuille de route philosophique pratique à travers laquelle peuvent être construction les caractéristiques d’une ville dans laquelle le bonheur de chacun peut être atteint. À partir de là, il souligne le caractère civil de l’État et le statut flexible et relatif de ses lois. Il a également souligné la nécessité de donner au philosophe la possibilité de contribuer à son tour, à travers un discours philosophique critique, à façonner les Principes d'une ville dans laquelle le bonheur de chacun se réalise.
