Authors : Khenouna Zakia . Dib Wassila .

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in general, notably female entrepreneurship, has recently become of high concern to both the academic world and governmental bodies, due to its significance as a cause of economic development, job creation, and unemployment mitigation. Nevertheless, women's role in enterprise creation is not as important as that of their European counterparts. As statistics show, despite the fact that there has been a lot of interest from the state on this issue, the problems and obstacles encountered by these enterprises are likely to dissuade other women from becoming entrepreneurs. Therefore, in order to solve this problem and to promote entrepreneurship in general and women specifically, the Algerian State has implemented better strategies to facilitate the development of entrepreneurship, notably that of women entrepreneurs, through laws, processes, and institutions, which help in making sure that the right environment is created for conducting these activities
