Abstract

Abstract: The constitutional revision of 2020 marked a pivotal step in affirming the constitutional position of civil society, as it explicitly acknowledged in the preamble, the vital and longstanding contribution of civil society institutions to shaping the state's identity and reinforcing democratic principles. The state has clearly adopted a policy of supporting civil society and encouraging its involvement in the management of public affairs. It has also provided a constitutional framework that guarantees the freedom to establish institutions and organizations constituting civil society, through the creation for the first time of an independent constitutional advisory body. This body is intended to strengthen interaction and cooperation between civil society institutions and the state, with the aim of achieving national development.
