Abstract
The digitization of scientific research has become a cornerstone for enhancing knowledge production, dissemination, and accessibility in the modern academic environment. In Algeria, the integration of digital technologies into research practices faces both opportunities and challenges. This study examines the reality of digitization in Algerian universities from a scientific approach, highlighting its role in improving research visibility, academic collaboration, and access to global knowledge networks. It also addresses structural, technical, and cultural barriers, such as limited infrastructure, insufficient training, and resistance to change. By adopting a comprehensive analytical perspective, the paper underscores the importance of fostering digital literacy, institutional support, and strategic policies to ensure effective digitization in Algerian scientific research.
