Violence against women represents one of the most pressing social and human rights issues of the 21st century, affecting not only individuals but also families and communities. The media, with its ability to shape public discourse and influence cultural norms, holds a critical responsibility in addressing this phenomenon. This study examines different media approaches in combating violence against women, emphasizing the strategies adopted by both traditional outlets and digital platforms. It explores how awareness campaigns, investigative reporting, and social media activism can expose hidden forms of abuse, challenge entrenched stereotypes, and advocate for institutional reforms. Furthermore, the research discusses the ethical responsibilities of journalists and media practitioners to avoid sensationalism and secondary victimization while ensuring the dignity and agency of women are preserved. By analyzing successful international experiences alongside local practices, the study highlights the transformative potential of media in fostering a culture of equality, solidarity, and accountability. Ultimately, it argues that media approaches should move beyond mere reporting to become proactive instruments of social change, integrating advocacy, education, and policy support to reduce violence and empower women.
