Measuring The Contribution Of The Agricultural Sector To The Gdp In Algeria: A Study Using The Ardl Model For The Period 1999-2022

Abstract

This study examines the role of Algeria's agricultural sector in boosting GDP from 1999 to 2022. Through the ARDL model, it was observed that the time series exhibit variations in stability and time lags. The boundary test confirmed a long-term equilibrium among variables, suggesting a shift from short-term impacts to long-term outcomes. The optimal model identified for the long run is ARDL(3,3).
