Abstract

This paper comprehensively examines the multifaceted dimensions of language, exploring its structural components, influential factors, and intricate interactions with parental influence, socioeconomic status, genetics, and culture. In the initial section, the pivotal role of parental influence in early language acquisition receives critical examination. Empirical studies underscore the substantial impact of parental attitudes, linguistic exposure within the home environment, and the facilitative role played by immigrant parents in nurturing language development. The subsequent section investigates the relationship between socioeconomic status and childhood language attainment. Research illuminates the pathways through which socioeconomic status influences language development, emphasizing the imperative for tailored interventions aimed at ameliorating linguistic disparities among children hailing from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Furthermore, the paper interrogates the deterministic perspective concerning the genetic underpinnings of language proficiency.
