This study aims to examine simple language delay in children from a speech-language pathology perspective by clarifying its concept, distinguishing it from speech delay and articulation disorders, and analyzing its symptoms and developmental effects, using a documentary analytical approach based on previous literature and studies. The study concludes that language delay is not limited to poor pronunciation, but also affects comprehension, expression, reading, and social adjustment. The findings emphasize early detection, hearing assessment, family and school involvement, and structured intervention
