Authors : Benreguia Hassina .

Abstract

The objective of this study is to gain insight into the manner in which virtual roles assumed by Algerian adolescents on Facebook influence their actual social roles, as well as to comprehend the characteristics of the virtual social roles that emerge from the utilisation of these sites. Based on the descriptive curriculum and using the form tool, 61 individuals responded through Nas Constantine's page, and several findings were obtained. Notably, the sampled adolescents are addicted to engaging in virtual relationships. Furthermore, the dumping of information on them has resulted in antisocial behaviour. Additionally, the significant negative impact of young people's membership of Facebook pages on their time and on their awareness of their responsibilities and the importance of their health roles in real life is evident.
