Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to assess the differences in Business Process Reengineering (BPR) indicators among various healthcare institutions in Algeria. To achieve this objective, the study employed three methodological approaches: the descriptive method, the inductive method, and the comparative method. These approaches were utilized to address the main research question and to implement the fieldwork component. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to a sample of 119 healthcare institutions, supplemented by brief interviews with some managers and direct observations. To test the study’s hypotheses, a one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was applied. The findings revealed no statistically significant differences among the various types of healthcare institutions in their adoption of BPR indicators, except for significant differences between primary care (PC) and large care (LC) institutions concerning the level of awareness of the BPR concept and the use of information technology tools.
