From Traditional To Virtual: Transformation Of Leadership Models In Global Companies (amazon, Ibm, Microsoft, And Google)

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the concept of virtual leadership in light of technological transformations and globalization, with a focus on how it is applied in global companies. It also seeked to understand the role of virtual leadership and its impact on organizational performance and operational efficiency. The research was based on the descriptive and analytical approach, reviewing the literature on virtual leadership, along with analyzing case studies of four leading global companies: Amazon, IBM, Microsoft, and Google. The results showed that virtual leadership is no longer limited to large companies, but has become necessary for various organizations, especially with the increase in remote work. It was also found that the success of virtual leadership depends on a range of factors, such as: the use of effective technology, building trust between team members and enhancing organizational flexibility. The research also confirmed that companies that have embraced virtual leadership have seen improvements in productivity, employee satisfaction, and operational cost savings.
