This study explores the pivotal role of Saudi literary clubs as literary, cultural, and social institutions that significantly contribute to the development and promotion of literature in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Established in the 1970s, these clubs serve as vital platforms for intellectual exchange, fostering a rich literary environment through a variety of events, including poetry readings, seminars, and workshops. By facilitating communication among writers, poets, and intellectuals, they cultivate emerging talent and preserve the Kingdom's literary heritage while also introducing Saudi literature to international audiences. The study highlights the historical context in which these clubs emerged, the evolution of their activities over the decades, and their impact on the literary landscape of Saudi Arabia. It details the expansion of literary clubs from major cities to encompass smaller regions, thus enriching the diversity of voices within Saudi literature. The study further examines the clubs' adaptation to modernity, particularly their embrace of digital platforms to enhance accessibility and engagement, especially during challenging times.
