Abstract
Drama enhances the audience's fondness and respects his or her general taste as one of its functions when exemplifying its objectives. It can be said that drama is a conveyance for systemizing social change and improving public understanding of societal concerns. Drama is a universal belief and a device for bringing about sociable enlightenment and civilization. Its presence contributes and donates to the growing public consciousness of societal necessities. As a component in a research series on Saudi theater and drama, this study seeks to give an indication of the beginnings, challenges, and evolution of Saudi drama and theater. The researcher has used critical analytical methodology in the investigation, shedding light on an example of Saudi drama dealing with the nature of history and poetry in drama. The research begins with a concise foreword and then moves on to address important literary issues, including the blossoming of Saudi drama and the history of Saudi drama in general. It then briefly discusses the characteristics of a Saudi play and its poet dramatist as an illustration of Saudi poetic drama. Husien Abdullah Siraj's verse play (غرام ولّادة) 'Gharam Walladah (2)' is presented in this portion. The last section of this research is a brief discussion and conclusion. أحد الأدوار الهامة التي يلعبه المسرح هو ان المسرح يعمل على تعزيز ولع الجمهور واحترام ذوقه العام كأحد وظائفه عند عرض أهدافها، ويمكن القول ان المسرح هو وسيلة لتنظيم التغيير الاجتماعي وتحسين فهم الجمهور للضرورات المجتمعية، فالمسرح هو اعتقاد عالمي، وأداة لتحقيق التنوير والحضارة الاجتماعية، يساهم وجودها ويشارك في الوعي العام المتزايد بالضروريات المجتمعية، باعتبارها أحد مكونات سلسلة بحوث حول المسرح والدراما السعودية، تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى إعطاء إشارة حول بدايات وتحديات وتطور الدراما والمسرح السعودي، استخدم الباحث المنهج التحليلي النقدي في تحقيق هدف الدراسة، حيث سلط الضوء على نموذج من المسرح السعودي الذي تناولت طبيعة التاريخ والشعر في المسرح، يبدأ البحث بمقدمة موجزة ثم ينتقل إلى تناول قضايا أدبية مهمة، منها ازدهار الدراما السعودية وتاريخ الدراما السعودية عمومًا، ثم يناقش بإيجاز خصائص المسرحية السعودية وشاعرها المسرحي كمثال للدراما الشعرية السعودية، يُعرض في هذا الجزء المسرحية الشعرية "غرام ولادة (2)" لحسين عبد الله سراج، والجزء الأخير من هذا البحث عبارة عن مناقشة مختصرة وخاتمة.
