This study seeks to clarify the role of digital technology in improving educational processes for children with mild intellectual disabilities. The theoretical review suggests that these learners present cognitive profiles that require educational responses tailored to their human, social, psychological, cognitive, and pedagogical needs. When digital technologies are used appropriately, many barriers to learning can be reduced, and educational provision can become more flexible, engaging, and effective. Educational technology for this group aims to provide a broad range of learning experiences by facilitating access to content through diverse digital media and instructional tools. Such tools can increase learners' motivation, support pedagogical development, and strengthen academic performance. Overall, the use of digital technology appears to play a positive and effective role in enhancing educational processes for children with mild intellectual disabilities.
