The Level Of Psychological Adjustment Among University Students (a Field Study)

Abstract

Article abstract: This research investigated psychological adaptation among 23 students at Tizi Ouzou University, finding no significant gender or socioeconomic differences using Rogers' (1961) adapted instrument. Analysis through descriptive statistics and t-tests revealed generally high psychological adjustment levels among participants. The study emphasizes academic advisors' crucial role and recommends implementing enhanced support systems featuring mental health counseling and structured mentoring programs.
