The origin of the situation is an abstract fixed system stored in the minds of speakers, and when it emerges into linguistic reality, it may collide with laws that fall within what we call linguistic use. The ancient Arabs devised a set of laws and principles that they considered to be a fixed foundation upon which the Arabic language was based. However, when descending into the linguistic reality, they noticed transformations that might occur in these principles, and this concerns the individual level as well as to the structural one. And what led them to be guided to this linguistic truth was a set of methodological tools that revealed this emergency transformation occurring in them, which made them conclude that linguistic use is governed by laws other than the laws of situation. These grammarians did not stop there but rather wondered about the reasons for this transformation that occurs in words and sentences when they come into use.
