This study examines work-life balance effects on job stress among healthcare employees at Ibn Badis University Hospital, Constantine. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, a structured questionnaire was administered to 135 employees through stratified random sampling. Results revealed low work-life balance levels (M=2.34) and high job stress (M=3.56), with strong negative correlation (r=-0.684, p<0.001). Regression analysis explained 67.5% of job stress variance, identifying family-supportive climate (β=-0.490) as the strongest predictor, followed by supervisory support, work flexibility, and leave benefits. Findings confirm that enhancing work-life balance, particularly organizational culture and support systems, effectively reduces job stress in healthcare settings.
