Abstract: This study investigates the role of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) in enhancing the quality of healthcare services from the perspective of healthcare workers at Mohamed Boudiaf Hospital – Ain Oulmane. Using a descriptive-analytical methodology, data were collected through a questionnaire administered to a sample of 40 staff members. The results revealed that EMRs significantly improve service quality, particularly in terms of faster information access, communication efficiency, and reduced medical errors. SPSS analysis showed a positive correlation between EMR usage and several quality dimensions, especially responsiveness (r = 0.838) and empathy (r = 0.849), indicating that technology supports rather than diminishes the human aspect of care. Although the safety dimension showed limited statistical significance, the overall findings confirm the positive impact of EMRs on service reliability and accuracy. The study concludes with a recommendation to reinforce technical infrastructure and staff training to maximize the benefits of EMR systems.
