The Ethics Of Generative Ai: Misinformation, Authorship, And The Challenge Of Creative Autonomy

الكاتب : صادق ريمة .

الملخص

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies have revolutionized content creation by enabling the production of text, images, and videos with unprecedented ease. While these advancements offer significant benefits, they also raise complex ethical challenges. This paper conducts secondary research using an interdisciplinary approach that draws on scholarly literature, case studies, and policy reviews to examine the ethical implications of generative AI. It offers a comprehensive synthesis that highlights overlooked ethical tensions in current AI policy debates. It specifically investigates how these technologies contribute to the spread of fake news and political manipulation through deepfakes, complicate the attribution of creative ownership, and rely on data often scraped without consent. The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of public digital literacy and adaptive legal frameworks to balance the opportunities of generative AI with the need for accountability and ethical oversight.
