Description
AFKAR wa AFFAK is a biannual, open-access journal published by the University of Algiers 2, Abou El Kacem Saadallah, in both print and electronic formats. It is a blind peer-reviewed journal and does not charge any submission or publication fees. Founded in 2011, the journal aims to promote the international visibility of Algerian and global scholarly research, and to foster academic exchange across disciplines and research traditions. It welcomes original, high-quality work in the humanities, social sciences, and foreign languages and literature. The journal prioritizes empirical studies that contribute to theoretical understanding and educational practice, but also considers strong theoretical papers. Submissions are primarily accepted in Arabic, English, and French, though other languages may be considered. All manuscripts undergo evaluation based on scientific rigor, clarity of theoretical and methodological framing, validity of data or corpora, originality of analysis, and quality of academic writing.

The journal Afkar wa Affak announces that starting from January 2025, it will become a biannual journal, published twice a year, while continuing to accept article submissions throughout the year.
