Smart Cities As A Means To Attain Sustainable Urban Development.

Abstract
Urbanization, with all its dimensions of sustainable urban development, is embodied in the model of the smart city, which combines three key pillars(technological ,environmental ,and social), this cities contribute to solving environmental issues and reducing the impacts of natural phenomena such as climate change, while simultaneously achieving economic and social development. In this context, Algeria has adopted the approach of catching up with this trend by developing a strategy for urban development, and sustainability. However, Algeria's experience in this regard is still in its early stages and faces practical challenges, preventing the realization of the desired smart city model.
