This study aims to identify the impact of investment in human resources on achieving competitive advantage in commercial banks in the provinces of Oran and Tiaret through the dimensions of human resource investment, including training, leadership, motivation, and performance evaluation of human resources, the study relies on the descriptive approach, and to achieve its objectives, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to a sample of 89 male and female employees, with data analysis conducted using the SPSS program. The results revealed a positive correlation between the dimensions of human resource investment and competitive advantage, with an affirmative impact of human resource investment in achieving competitive advantage in the institutions under study, the sample participants agreed that the institutions in question enjoy a competitive advantage, which is one of their primary concerns in the market. Based on the results, several recommendations were made, the most important of which is that institutions must have sufficient and comprehensive knowledge of human resource investment, its development, and retention, and utilize this to gain a sustainable competitive advantage.
