The Algerian Journal of Human and Social Sciences (AJHSS) is a half-yearly academic peer-reviewed journal, it publishes original research in English/ French/ Arabic languages and reviews articles related to Human and Social research: Politics, International Relations, Law, Economics, Management, Journalism, Arts and the like. The AJHSS welcomes original and high-quality papers that reflect sound methodologies, updated theoretical and empirical analyses and conform to the standards of publication in the journal and specifications of the referenced articles in terms of language, form and content. The Algerian Journal of Human and Social Sciences is issued and published by Salah Boubnider University of Constantine 3 in collaboration with local experts, it is edited by a selected group of local and international eminent researchers. The issuance of a scientific journal, aimed at creativity and to be an open platform for all professors, doctoral students and writers from various universities and serious scientific contributions in the social and human fields, is a task that requires a great effort and tireless work that can only be achieved with the participation and concerted efforts of all the professors of universities, through serious studies, articles, scientific analyses and book presentations. The journal (AJHSS) aims to carry out these tasks correctly and to make it a source of benefit and enjoyment to readers and researchers.

Call for papers Special Issue
The journal AJHSS - Algerian Journal of Human and Social Sciences - is launching a call for papers for a thematic issue devoted to “Precarious housing in africa: dynamics, resilience and trajectories of an ‘informal’ urban environment”

This call is open to researchers in urban planning, architecture, geography, sociology, anthropology, political science, economics and development studies. Interdisciplinary approaches and comparative case studies are strongly encouraged.
The papers are accepted in English, Arabic and French.
