Résumé
The present study is part of a specific framework in legal translation, that of transferring the sacred nature of religious concepts derived from Islamic law, the Sharia. This stage represents a very complicated task for the legal translator, especially when it comes to finding a terminological equivalent that corresponds to the conceptual and functional sense within its own legal context. This study will lead us to the question of the untranslatability of these concepts.
