Abstract
Digital transformation is the process of integrating digital technology into all areas of education, radically changing the way teachers work and perform their duties. Digital transformation significantly impacts the development of teachers’ professional competencies in several key ways: First, digital transformation requires teachers to acquire new technical skills, such as using educational platforms and interactive tools. Second, it demands the development of innovative pedagogical skills suited to digital education, such as designing interactive online learning activities. Third, digital transformation promotes continuous and self-directed learning for teachers through online training courses and diverse digital resources. It also contributes to the development of communication and collaboration skills among teachers through virtual professional networks. Furthermore, digital transformation encourages teachers to develop e-assessment skills and track learners’ progress digitally. In addition, digital transformation requires the development of time management skills and the organization of digital content. Finally, digital transformation helps teachers keep pace with modern educational developments and adapt to the demands of the digital age.
