Business Incubators As Catalysts For Startup Development In Algeria

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the role of business incubators in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Algeria. By examining the impact of incubators on startup creation, growth, and survival, the research seeks to understand their contribution to the Algerian economy. The study employed a descriptive research design with a case study approach to analyze the Algerian context. Key findings reveal that business incubators offer essential support services, including access to finance, mentorship, and networking opportunities. However, challenges such as limited funding and infrastructure hinder their effectiveness. To maximize the impact of incubators, the study recommends investing in incubator management training and fostering strong partnerships with other stakeholders. Keywords: Business Incubators, Startups, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Algeria ملخص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم الدور المحوري لحاضنات الأعمال في تحفيز روح الابتكار وريادة الأعمال في الجزائر. ومن خلال تحليل أثر هذه الحاضنات على تأسيس الشركات الناشئة وتطورها واستمراريتها، تسعى الدراسة إلى فهم إسهاماتها الفاعلة في دفع عجلة التنمية الاقتصادية للبلاد. وقد تم اتباع منهجية بحثية وصفية مدعمة بدراسة حالة لتعميق فهم السياق الجزائري. تشير النتائج الرئيسية إلى أن حاضنات الأعمال تقدم مجموعة واسعة من الخدمات الداعمة، بما في ذلك التمويل والإرشاد وبناء العلاقات الشبكية، إلا أن تحديات مثل نقص التمويل وقصور البنية التحتية تحد من كفاءتها. ولذلك، توصي الدراسة بضرورة الاستثمار في تطوير قدرات العاملين في الحاضنات وتعزيز التعاون مع مختلف الجهات المعنية لتعظيم أثرها الإيجابي. الكلمات المفتاحية: حاضنات أعمال، شركات ناشئة، ريادة أعمال، ابتكار، جزائر.
