This research investigates the synergistic relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and Singapore’s evolution as a global trade hub. By examining AI's integration across the trade ecosystem, the study elucidates its impact on trade efficiency, competitiveness, and innovation. Specifically, AI's role in optimizing supply chains, enhancing predictive analytics, and automating customs processes is analyzed. The findings reveal that AI has emerged as a critical enabler of trade operations, contributing to increased efficiency and cost reductions. Moreover, AI-driven platforms have facilitated cross-border trade by streamlining processes. However, the study also identifies challenges, such as the need for substantial AI infrastructure and talent development, as well as the imperative of addressing ethical considerations related to data privacy and algorithmic bias.
