Milestones Of Reform For Ibn Badis

Ibn Badis went in his reform project to search for the roots of the values of world civilization in Islam. On the other hand, we find the slogans of the civilized West are relative and not absolute, but in fact, they are values specific to Western countries only and Westerners do not apply them to other countries. While Islamic values are universal values, because they do not differentiate between people on the basis of race, color or language. and Muslims, if they want to establish a true civilization, must follow the rules and laws of progress that God has deposited in history. Therefore, Ibn Badis was interested in education and its curricula and was open to foreign languages and the necessity of learning them and learning modern sciences. For this reason, the Salafism of Ibn Badis on the surface was a truce with France, and within it a rational revolutionary Salafism that paved the way for the outbreak of the liberation revolution.
