Abstract: This study aims to examine the role of financial technology (FinTech) in advancing digital financial services through a comparative analysis of the experiences of China and Singapore. It focuses on key dimensions, including strategic orientations, technological innovation, regulatory frameworks, adoption levels, and service outcomes. The study employs a descriptive-analytical and comparative approach, drawing on recent reports and relevant academic literature. The findings indicate that China’s model is characterized by rapid market expansion driven by large technology firms, whereas Singapore’s approach is institutionally oriented with strong regulatory oversight. Both experiences underscore the critical role of robust digital infrastructure, continuous innovation, and effective regulatory balance in enhancing financial inclusion and service efficiency. Furthermore, the study identifies a set of best practices and policy lessons that can inform other countries seeking to develop their digital financial ecosystems. Overall, the results highlight that successful financial digital transformation depends on a well-integrated ecosystem that combines technological advancement, sound regulation, and institutional support.
