The Impact Of Digitizing Patient Medical Records On Improving The Quality Of Healthcare Services From The Perspective Of Doctors And Nurses: A Case Study Of The Ouled Attia Neighborhood Public Health Institution In Skikda Province

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of digitizing patient medical records on improving the quality of healthcare services at the Ouled Attia Neighborhood Public Health Institution in Skikda Province. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach to formulate the theoretical framework and a case study approach for the applied aspect. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool from a simple random sample of 105 doctors and nurses at the institution. The data were statistically analyzed using SPSS Statistics 26 to test the proposed hypotheses. The results revealed a direct and statistically significant impact (at a significance level of α ≤ 0,05) of digitizing medical records on improving the quality of healthcare services at the institution. These findings underscore the importance of digitization in enhancing the efficiency of healthcare services. الملخص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم أثر رقمنة الملف الطبي للمريض على تحسين جودة الخدمات الصحية في المؤسسة العمومية للصحة الجوارية بأولاد عطية ولاية سكيكدة، اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لصياغة الإطار النظري، ومنهج دراسة الحالة في الجانب التطبيقي. تم استخدام الاستبيان كأداة لجمع البيانات من عينة عشوائية بسيطة مكونة من 105 أفراد من الأطباء والممرضين في المؤسسة و تم تحليل البيانات إحصائيًا باستخدام برنامج SPSS Statistics 26 لاختبار الفرضيات المقترحة إذ أظهرت النتائج وجود أثر مباشر وذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى معنوية α≤0.05 لرقمنة الملف الطبي على تحسين جودة الخدمات الصحية في المؤسسة، تؤكد هذه النتائج أهمية الرقمنة في تعزيز كفاءة الخدمات الصحية.
