Authors : Zerf Fouad . Hadj Mohammed Zahia .

Abstract

Abstract: This study addresses the protection of human trafficking victims under the Palermo Protocol supplementing the (2000) UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, a key instrument against modern slavery. It adopts a descriptive-analytical approach to examine the Protocol’s provisions and State Parties’ obligations. The study emphasizes the human-centered dimension of international legal mechanisms and the role of national institutions in enhancing protection through legislative and procedural measures.
