Abstract: This study examines the role of the Judicial File Management System (SGDJ) in enhancing the effectiveness of e-justice in Algeria. The SGDJ serves as a central tool for managing judicial procedures, enabling the monitoring of case progress from registration to final adjudication. It contributes to the unification of procedures across courts and the reduction of administrative errors. The findings indicate that the SGDJ accelerates case processing, improves the performance of judges and court staff, and allows citizens to directly monitor their files online, thereby strengthening public trust in the judicial system. The study highlights the importance of developing the system’s technical infrastructure, improving the efficiency of judicial personnel, and raising public awareness to ensure its sustainability and achieve maximum benefits within the framework of digital justice. Consequently, the SGDJ represents a strategic step toward establishing a more effective and transparent judicial system in Algeria.
