Welfare And Economic Development - A Study Of The Relationship Using Statistical Modeling For The Period 2000-2024

Abstract
This study aimed to demonstrate the impact of social welfare on economic development in Algeria for the period from 2000 to 2024. In light of this, we applied this study to the practical side using a standard study based on the linear regression equation model using the least squares method. We then adopted a descriptive approach, utilizing data and information available from several sources to analyze the developments in these indicators, based on previous studies and empirical studies related to the topic. One of the most important findings is the confirmation of a significant contribution of the determinants of economic and social development to the quality of life of individuals. This means that there is a strong correlation between these factors and welfare, and that the variables controlling welfare primarily include income levels, employment, education, health, and possibly social services. These are the factors that were adopted in the economic and social explanatory variables.
