Abstract

This study explores the transformative impact of blockchain technology on modern financial systems. It highlights how blockchain's decentralization, transparency, and immutability can eliminate intermediaries, reshaping capital markets and financial institutions. The research addresses the implications of blockchain for investors, financial services, regulators, and consumers, particularly in regions with inadequate financial infrastructure. Despite challenges in integrating blockchain with traditional finance, such as regulatory ambiguity and job displacement, the technology offers significant benefits, including enhanced security and cost reduction. Case studies, such as the China Construction Bank's adoption of cryptocurrency solutions, illustrate practical applications of blockchain in financial systems. Ultimately, the study anticipates ongoing advancements in blockchain technology and its potential to redefine economic structures in the future.
