Authors : Djerfi Abderahmane . Chaalal Cherif Abdelillah .

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of e-governance on the healthcare sector, as information and communications technology (ICT) contributes to improving the quality of health services, increasing efficiency, and enhancing transparency. Despite the numerous benefits e-governance offers, many countries face significant challenges in adopting it, such as limited infrastructure, financial constraints, and digital security issues. The study relies on case studies from various countries, such as Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, to understand their strategies for implementing e-governance in health. It also discusses the key factors contributing to the success of these initiatives, as well as the obstacles hindering their implementation. The study concludes that the success of e-governance in health requires a strong regulatory framework, investments in digital infrastructure, and enhanced technical awareness among healthcare providers and citizens alike.
