Résumé
Cette contribution vise une approche d’ordre toponymique portant sur le Tlemcenois, territoire de proximité de Tlemcen, ancienne capitale du Maghreb central. Ce territoire regroupe l’ancienne médina (intramuros) et le hawz (extra muros). Le toponyme est celui d’Ain El Hûts, localité connue pour ses allonymes, ceux qui interrogent l’histoire et interpellent la mémoire onomastique et toponymique.Sur la base d’une interrogation relative aux marqueurs du toponyme étudié, nous mettons l’accent sur son évolution dans le temps et dans l’espace. Pour cette raison, l’objectif de cette contribution vise la mise en avant d’une démarche pour pouvoir aborder les sujets de l’onomastique, la toponymie, l’hagionyme, etc. Le plan proposé rappelle les différents toponymes de la localité, les légendes et son passé à travers l’histoire, la mémoire et la mythologie. This contribution is part of an approach that relates to a toponym of the region of western Algeria, and more particularly in Tlemcenois, a territory near Tlemcen, the former capital of the central Maghreb. This territory includes the old medina (intramuros) and the hawz (extra muros). The toponym is that of Ain El Hûts, a locality known for its allonyms, those which question history and challenge onomastic and toponymic memory. Based on an interrogation relating to the markers of the toponym studied, we focus on its evolution in time and space. For this reason, the objective of this contribution is to highlight an approach to be able to address the subjects of onomastics, toponymy, hagionym, etc.
