Abstract: This study aims to examine the impact of using artificial intelligence technologies in developing the acquisition of spatial function words among deaf children with cochlear implants. To achieve the research objectives, three operational procedures were adopted. The first involved a clinical diagnostic assessment to differentiate and control variables, using an audiometric speech test. The second was an empirical experimental investigation to test the hypotheses, employing a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design to explore the linkage between perspectives according to Jean Piaget. This phase incorporated the application of an educational program using artificial intelligence technologies through an intelligent robot proposed in the study. The third procedure was a statistical analysis to process the obtained results. The study was conducted on a sample of seven (07) deaf children with cochlear implants, aged 10 years, enrolled in a specialized school for the deaf. The findings revealed statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test results in favor of the post-test, indicating the effectiveness of the proposed program applied to the study group. This confirms the role of artificial intelligence techniques, particularly smart robots, in fostering the acquisition of spatial function words in deaf children with cochlear implants. The study further underscored the importance of integrating modern technologies, such as automated devices and robotics, into the education and learning processes of individuals with special needs, particularly those with hearing impairments.
