Self-efficacy And Its Relationship To School Bullying Among Middle School Students Field Study In Tizi Ouzou Middle Schools

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the relationship between self-efficacy and school bullying, as well as the differences in self-efficacy and school bullying between male and female secondary school students. The study sought to gain a deeper understanding of the terms ‘self-efficacy’ and ‘school bullying’, a phenomenon that has become prevalent and dangerous in society. A total of 100 male and female students were randomly selected from several middle schools in Tizi Ouzou to participate in the study. The self-efficacy scale by Mahmoud Kazem Mahmoud (2008) and the school bullying scale by Magdy Mohamed El-Desouki were used to test the study hypotheses. The results indicated a statistically significant inverse relationship between self-efficacy and school bullying among middle school students, and statistically significant gender differences in self-efficacy and school bullying.
