This article examines the impact of morphological form on guiding the readings of Surah An-Nisa, drawing on the works Al-Hujjah by Abu Ali al-Farsi and Hujjat al-Qira’at by Ibn Zanjala. It explains how the morphological structure of the verb whether basic or augmented, active or passive, or intensified to indicate repetition affects Qur’anic meaning and contributes to variations among canonical and non-canonical readings. The study emphasizes that morphology is not merely a technical linguistic aspect, but a tool for clarifying the relationship between the verb and its subject or object, and for precisely and eloquently directing the meaning of the Qur’anic text.
