Tunisians offered significant support to their Libyan brethren, with the Tunisian Youth Movement at the forefront. This movement initiated the publication of the newspaper "Al-Ittihad Al-Islami" (Islamic Union), followed by "Al-Ittihad Al-Tunisi" (Tunisian Union), aiming to raise awareness among Tunisians about participating in the struggle against the Italians, highlighting their crimes, and defending Libyan rights. Led by Ali Bach Hamba, the Tunisian Youth Movement recruited Tunisians and even Algerians to support the Libyan struggle, in addition to collecting financial donations and military supplies. The movement organized demonstrations and led boycott campaigns against Italian economic interests in Tunisia. Therefore, this study aims to explore the support and stances adopted by Tunisians towards the Libyan situation before the arrival of Italian rule.
