Abstract
Cyber security has become a basic need for all countries and an important pillar for the modern security system under the responsibility of various security agencies to ensure safety, particularly in light of the spreading of the phenomenon of electronic crime. In addition to the growth of criminal electronic networks which posed recent challenges that require treatment by legal and legislative instruments. Considering what has been said, firstly, the research defines the conceptual side of cybercrime in jurisprudence generally, and in comparative law particularly .It determines the characteristics and types of cybercrime. After that we focus our attention to the objective and procedural aspects of the legal protection against electronic crimes
