This paper investigates digital health sovereignty in light of increasing cybersecurity threats and legal frameworks developed to combat them. The growing integration of digital technologies in healthcare has given rise to cybercrimes that jeopardize data integrity, confidentiality, and national control over health systems. These crimes present legal issues concerning jurisdiction, attribution, and standards of evidence. The study focuses on Algeria’s legal response, especially Law No. 09/04 on cybercrime, examining its role in protecting digital health platforms. It evaluates the effectiveness of these measures and offers legal strategies to strengthen digital health sovereignty amid evolving cyber threats and emerging technological risks.
