Cybersecurity As A Tool For Strengthening Digital Sovereignty: Challenges And Prospects

Abstract
The present research focuses on the issues of cybersecurity and digital sovereignty within the framework of threats emerging in cyberspace, namely, cyber war, cybercrime, and cyberespionage. It draws attention to an expansion of the notion of security, which encompasses not only such aspects as military, economic, social, political, and legal but also informational. The focus is made on the significance of cybersecurity in terms of protection of the digital space, with particular emphasis being put on the need for a well-developed system of measures.
